Vagrantで、UbuntuのBoxはこちらを使っているのですが、ちょっと日本語にしたいなぁと思うことがあったので。

まあ、Vagrantで使うかどうかに限らず使えそうな気はしますが、今回書いた背景として。
初期状態
最初の状態を書いてお生きます。

Let's 日本語化
locale-genで、日本語用ロケールを作成します。
$ sudo locale-gen ja_JP.UTF-8 Generating locales (this might take a while)... ja_JP.UTF-8... done Generation complete.
もしくは、まるっと日本語言語パックをインストールしてもいいです。
$ sudo apt install language-pack-ja
localeの一覧に現れるようになります。

最後に、apt系の結果について。LANGを指定してapt updateするか

apt update。

すると、apt showの結果も日本語化されます。

apt updateで日本語翻訳分を取得した後は、こんなファイルができます。そして、その後更新されていきます。
